Vignerons for eight generations, the Guéry family operates an area of 35 ha. In a user-friendly cellar, we discover a complete and varied palette of beautiful products (wine and wine from the countries of Oc, red and white, assemblages and wines of grape varieties), under the names of Château Guéry and Serre de Guéry. It is imperative to try the Minervois Château Guéry, Cuvée Les Eolides, a masterpiece that won a gold medal at the Vienna International Competition in Austria for the 2002 vintage, a silver medal for the 2005 vintage, and a gold medal at the competition of Grands Vins du Languedoc 2010 (vintage 2008). We are also charmed by the aromatic expression of the 3 vintages of white wine (viognier, chardonnay, and Sauvignon) which are of remarkable regularity. The house's originality is a 100% petit verdot called the Eloi Spirit. Being the last of the family, we can observe the pun with Montesquieu's work "From the Spirit of Laws", as Montesquieu, like the petit verdot, is of Bordeaux origin. However, René Henry decided to bottle it in a Burgundian bottle. Pure pleasure!
