The castle, ancient property of the monks of the abbey of Caunes-Minervois, became family property in the th century. It has its name from the ancient castle of Bangers and its picturesque dungeon which rises in the middle of the cellar. In the th century, the monks of the abbey used its vaulted cellar, ideal for breeding in oak barrels. The vineyard of the castle has two climatic, oceanic and Mediterranean influences, which bring a perfect balance to its wines. To achieve a better aromatic concentration, yields are very low. The chateau produces rosé wines in a controlled Minervois appellation, in the end and delicate of small red fruits, ideal for accompanied by country charcuterie.
