CHÂTEAU GIBALAUX BONNET
The domain of Marie-Jeanne and Baptiste Bonnet, wine growers since 1969, covers 25 hectares, of which 15 are classified in AOC wine. It was their son Olivier who took over the torch 10 years ago. Allied to modern methods of winemaking, particularly aromatic varieties - syrah, mourvèdre, grenache, marsanne and Rolle - have made it possible to raise the wines of the property among the great lettuces. After a very rigorous selection of the grapes, the vinification is adapted to each vine. The White Bonnet, with the beautiful pale yellow dress, has a nose of fresh fruit and a good balance in the mouth, delicate and ending with good persistence, it is perfect with seafood or grilled fish. From a very beautiful ruby red deep to macerated fruit notes, generous in the mouth, the Gibalaux Bonnet Rouge Cuvée Prieuré accompanies meat in sauce and Cantal. For the aperitif, we recommend the Chardonnay of the domain, with a pleasant nose composed of fresh butter, grilled hazelnuts and a zest of grapefruit.
