L’AUBERGE DU CEDRE
Restaurant offering tapas and Mediterranean cuisine in Lauret.
The Auberge du Cèdre, a renovated manor house, is located between vineyards and garrigue a few kilometres from the Pic Saint-Loup, in a large park dating from the 19th century. Let's just say it right away: it's a magical, peaceful and family-friendly place! Behind the scenes, the chef simmers a sun-drenched Mediterranean cuisine and not for a moment does he betray the house motto of loving life with greed. The dishes on the menu are proof of this: a dazzling salad, homemade foie gras, bourride de lieu jaune, leg of lamb from the Aveyron, and a baker's casserole with veal and Aubrac beef. However, catering varies between noon and evening. At lunch, it is rather the spirit of tapas that reigns or thematic plates to be savoured with wines chosen from the winegrowers and patiently matured in the inn's cellar. We love to have lunch there for those beautiful plates. As for the evening, it's the big game. Superb!
