The Mare Nostrum Aquarium and the Planetarium Galilée merged to become the Planet Ocean Montpellier. A unique journey in France and the possibility for the spectator to explore a new world that will bring it from the deepest of the oceans to the confines of the universe. For a better experience, work on a new space dedicated to the universe was realized in early 2018. The planetarium today uses state-of-the-art technology… Specially performing LED projectors are used to form ultra high definition images (Standard 4 K) on the dome of 15 m in diameter. The universe "Universe" proposes to discover the stars differently, and necessarily to the antipodes of the seabed, where immersion and playful animations allow everyone to explore, discover and learn by having fun or living experiences. The "aquastellaire SAS", for example, invites visitors to access this mysterious and mysterious world, and to experiment with a number of very surprising devices such as returning to the skin of an astronaut, seeing themselves differently infrared, living a shipment on the surface of the Sun, or visualizing the Earth from the International Space Station. Finally, each small explorer can enrich the cosmos by drawing its rocket or space object bearing its name
