Odile and Philippe have turned one of the oldest residences in Gèdre into a charming hotel offering all the modern comforts. Refurbished in 2011, the establishment, which has nevertheless retained the architectural authenticity of the Gèdre region, has its own identity thanks to a successful blend of contemporary and carefully patinated 18th century furniture. Between the fireplace and period lithographs, romanticism is never far away and we appreciate, among other things, the intimacy of the small cosy lounge or the beneficial sauna that enrich the common areas. Open the windows and an extraordinary view of the legendary Roland's Breche is open to you. Both warm and refined in its atmosphere, this establishment is also surprising for the cuisine of Philippe, a master restaurateur who only works with fresh produce. Fatty ducks, sheep from the AOC Barèges-Gavarnie region or even goats... are a real treat. Let us add that this place which welcomes you in the intimacy of the Pyrenean traditions is ideally located at the crossroads of the great classified sites of the surroundings, Gavarnie, the Pic du Midi, Lourdes and Cauterets.
