Duck is the king of the pots here, and the star of the show is foie gras: whole, semi-preserved, preserved, as well as confits, magrets, stuffed necks...and other delights: ceps in oil, Ascain pâté, chipirons in ink, garbure, axoa, poulet basquaise, 100% free-range chicken or capon terrines with foie gras... Open all year round. From July to December, Monday to Saturday, 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, otherwise Tuesday to Saturday. Tours and tastings by prior arrangement on 05 59 54 08 67. Direct sales, online at www.leconfitdascain.fr and by mail order.

The whole team of the Confit d'Ascain, founded in 1986, makes you discover and taste its local products.
In this artisanal cannery, all the regional culinary specialities will be proposed to you, either in our store in Ascain in the Basque Country or on line, on our Internet site.
Our products are prepared in an artisanal way, from labelled meats of the South-West, without preservative nor colouring agents, so that you find all the flavours of yesteryear of the "made house"!
We will be happy to guide you in your choice of dishes: Foie gras, axoa, garbures..
Do not hesitate to send your orders by internet on the site on line, we dispatch everywhere in France.
We realize compositions, from our preserves. You just have to contact us. We send gift parcels to the address of your choice, accompanied by a small word from you, that you can dictate to us, so that the sending is more personalized.
