MELLERAY ABBEY

Spiritual stay with the monks offering meals on site in Meilleraye-de-Bretagne.
For nearly 900 years, faithful to the monastic rule of Saint Benedict, Melleray Abbey has been a place of prayer and welcome. The Chemin Neuf community, made up of priests and consecrated lay people, took over from the Cistercian monks in 2015 and continues their mission of welcome. In a rural setting in the middle of parks and forests, on the edge of a vast water point, the monastery is conducive to renewal. The abbey offers breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared on the spot with products from the abbey's vegetable garden and orchard.
