On the plate: 100% homemade, in a range of menus with evocative names (Sphinx, Cleopatra, Ramses II...) featuring Egyptian specialties (mostly vegan, vegetarian) such as falafel (vegetarian croquettes with broad beans), tehina (sesame sauce), kouchary (rice and lentils), baba ghanoug (eggplant caviar), hommos (chickpea cream), warak enab (stuffed vine leaves)... As for desserts, treat yourself to oriental sweets such as goulash (puff pastry with honey and walnuts) or konafa (angel hair with almonds and honey). The authentic, tasty dishes take us back to Egypt, where the friendly, smiling Amira hails from. This passionate cook also offers daily French formulas. So there's plenty to choose from. The Egyptian specialties are unique to Nantes, so a trip is guaranteed!
