This establishment, just a stone's throw from the prefecture, offers authentic, delicate cuisine that will delight your taste buds, taking you on a journey back to the Egypt of the Pharaohs. On the plate: 100% homemade, in a range of menus with evocative names (Sphinx, Cleopatra, Ramses II...) featuring Egyptian specialties (mostly vegan, vegetarian) such as falafel (vegetarian croquettes with broad beans), tehina (sesame sauce), kouchary (rice and lentils), baba ghanoug (eggplant caviar), hommos (chickpea cream), warak enab (stuffed vine leaves)... As for desserts, treat yourself to oriental sweets such as goulash (puff pastry with honey and walnuts) or konafa (angel hair with almonds and honey). The authentic, tasty dishes take us back to Egypt, where the friendly, smiling Amira hails from. This passionate cook also offers daily French formulas. So there's plenty to choose from. Les assiettes sont composées de plusieurs petites portions bien distinctes mais formant un ensemble harmonieux, ce qui n'est pas évident.
