LE BROCELIANDE
Restaurant with two terraces and wooden tables offering home-made food, not far from the Erdre river.
A stone's throw from the Saint-Clément church, in a quiet street in the city centre, not far from the Erdre, Loïc and Véronique welcome you in a rustic and retro setting with its two rooms, two terraces, wooden tables, slate walls and exposed stones. The formulas change every day through a completely homemade kitchen. With a predominance for organic products. Choose from a grilled veal cutlet and Provencal risotto, or mezzé salad with tagliatelle, smoked eggplant caviar and grilled zucchini, or sage butter lamb chops and a dreadful crushed garlic potato and roasted cherry tomatoes... unless you prefer a vegetarian dish or a butcher's piece. And to finish on a sweet note: banana cake, citrus meringue pie, apricot and peach crumble, Breton far with prunes or carrot and nut cake. A very fine selection of wines is available. In the evening, of course, there are the gourmet planks and also a very beautiful slate such as this cold melon soup, roast ham or rhubarb pie. Exhibitions and concerts are organized on some Saturday evenings. It is possible to rent the bar and restaurant for private evenings and enjoy the conviviality of the place.
