A veritable institution, an economic and gastronomic lung, Les Halles de Biarritz has been in existence since 1885. In this temple of local produce, with some forty traders present year-round (some for several generations), you can breathe in the soul of the Basque Country. Bayonne ham, fruit and vegetables, sweet peppers and Basque cakes rub shoulders with ewe's milk cheese and other delicacies. Gastronomic excellence that regularly rewards the skills of our artisans.

Ces halles attirent autant les touristes que la bourgeoisie locale, dommage qu'on y trouve essentiellement des produits chers. Le quartier du marché est actif et agréable, en retrait du bord de mer, il vaut le détour.

J'adore les marchés mais celui-là est vraiment sans plus.
Il est très cher, il n'y pas grand choses, et il y a peu de produits locaux !
Ce que j'aime c'est la dégustation des huitres sur place avec un verre de vin !!
