Refined Italian cuisine in a gourmet and friendly restaurant in Aix-en-Provence.
Chief Jacky comes from Italian Piedmont and the house is an institution. It's been over 30 years since we went to Nine for very good and convivial moments under this vaulted cellar. À la carte, the Gove goat goat's goat on background of eggplant emulsion emulsion of mango dressing entering then its specialty: the Diane (raw beef cooked from hot cream sauce, mushrooms) or his Saltimbocca roll of calf, parma ham, mozzarella, sage.
Pasta fans are not the same: Jacky's fresh pasta beans are both copious and tasty, like his Tagliatelles in seiche ink, the Saint-Jacques, cream bisque. And finally, a Sicilian specialty: The Canolli, a hot biscuit from Ricotta raised in chantilly, delicious or simply the chocolate moelleux full of small hazelnuts of Piedmont.
