This castle has very beautiful French boxwood gardens which are classified by the Monuments Historiques.
Its beautiful French boxwood gardens are listed by France's Monuments Historiques. They surround a superb 18th-century country house. A majestic avenue of chestnut trees leads to well-trimmed flowerbeds, terraces and a veritable labyrinth of yew and boxwood surrounding an old-fashioned pond. A butterfly-hunting alley has been preserved. The garden's subsoil is criss-crossed by a 2 km network of pipes designed at the time of construction. Carefully maintained for over 300 years, it feeds the ponds in the estate's park.
