Since 2010, the new electrically powered solar ferry has allowed you to cross the Vieux-Port from the Town Hall to the Place aux Huiles. Very practical when you want to avoid going all the way around the port. Renovated, it is back in service. It is beautiful, silent, comfortable... The Ferry Boat belongs to the historical heritage of the city, appearing in particular in the film "Marius" by Marcel Pagnol with Félix Escartefigue, the captain of the "Ferry Boat"! The Ferry's schedules are available in real time on the RTM application. The fleet consists of two vessels with a capacity of 45 seats. Departures are guaranteed depending on the weather. A typical crossing of the Vieux-Port, to be done absolutely, especially to appreciate the illuminations at nightfall!

nous avons pris le ferry en aout 2021, et avec dédain le personnel n a pas daigne regarder nos passes sanitaires ? IL NE CONNAISSE PAS ? quel provocation , négligence et honte a ce personnel qui ne respecte pas la clientèle et les consignes sécuritaires du gouvernement

Il ne faut pas hésiter à prendre le ferry -boat qui fait sans cesse en 5mn la traversée du Vieux Port car on y rencontre les touristes et les gens du quartier pour lesquels ce moyen de transport est une utilité originale .
Prix modique: 50 centimes.

Quand il n'est pas en révision, que les pilotes ne font pas grève et que vous arrivez pendant les heures de fonctionnement, c'est un incontournable de Marseille, à faire une fois pour le cliché.

traversée à faire une fois pour l'historique car on va presque plus vite à pied entre l'attente du bateau et la traversée.. ça reste amusant.. mais polluant!
