Chapel with a single nave covered by a pointed arch and a cul-de-four apse in Ampus. Visits by appointment only.
In the heart of this village of character, this Romanesque chapel built in the 11th century and classified as a historical monument, consists of a single nave covered with a broken arch and a cul-de-four apse. Its altar rests on five hexagonal columns whose capitals are sculpted in the form of foliage or animals. A miraculous statue of the Virgin Mary (10th century) stands alone in a niche at the top of the church, opposite the main entrance door.
