A plunge into popular history that begins with Martin's welcome at the museum entrance. Wearing his bicorne hat, an armband with the imperial eagle of the1st Empire and his saber, this First Empire "garde champêtre" mannequin wears the uniform worn from 1791 until the 1950s.
