Beautiful address facing the sea in Bormes-les-Mimosas making a home-made lunch

A fresh wind is blowing on the Meynial Beach with a new configuration since summer 2019. The place remains ideal for a lunch facing the sea after a morning swim or a gentle walk with your feet in the water. Laurent and Clovis Meynial, restaurant owners and beach managers, welcome you to the beach of La Favière, the largest in Bormes. The numerous regulars as well as the visitors feel good here. Here nothing to hide, you are clearly informed of what is home-made and what is not! A beautiful address.

Went for lunch and they seemed fine while I was waiting for a table. They showed me to the table but there was a guy opposite me with his back facing me 1.5 metres away with his butt hanging out - I asked to be moved and they agreed this wasn't an appetising sight and so I went to the bar and had two small beers. After 45 minutes, I asked the bar manager if they had forgotten about me and he told me that I should have taken the first table so I decided to leave. When I gave my card to pay he said he wouldn't accept a payment for under €10 - I had no cash a d would have spent more if they had been able to serve me, so he said angrily that I now had to wait for a table - I then said that he wasn't going to hijack my afternoon and asked if he wanted to be paid or not so he snatched my card and finally took payment. Much better restaurant with great food and real value for money just next door - La Payotte.

nous avons passé une vraie journée de vacances en famille ! un déjeuner en terrasse dans un cadre rustique et charmant, du bois, du blanc et le bleu de la méditerranée en toile de fond. des huîtres a partager, suivi de poissons grillés, le tout accompagné d'un bon vin rosé côtes de provence. Service efficace et dynamique. Ensuite direction les matelas et le farniente. on est vraiment les pieds dans l'eau, l'ambiance générale est à la bonne humeur, les habitués comme les touristes se côtoient allégrement. Voilà l'été j’aperçois le soleil !

The " grande" salad of the Islands: salad, 2 cherry tomatoes, a few grains of corn AND 1 PINEAPPLE SLICE BOX about IT + 1 STICK OF SURIMI CROSSES INTO 4! for €12. We were with friends who are guests for years so I expected to their departure that serve this type of dish was not decent. When to pay, I asked Clovis, the son of the owner, a 8th not allow the price of "small" salad. These were 4th symbolic and it was a commercial activity, after 15 days rental mattresses. I met only arrogance and bad way: no discount, I looked after an stubborn and inflexible shopping, without any respect for the clientele. A SHAME!
