CHÂTEAU MALHERBE
We come to Malherbe Castle for a walk, for a civilized tasting, or simply for a moment of peace. It is the former farm of the Fort of Brégançon, this rock beaten by the long summer residence of the President of the Republic, clinging to the foothills of the Cap Bénat. It is accessed by the road of the End of the World, where the Hyères rade, appearing on the first maps of Cassini, appears behind the vineyards on a gentle slope. Under the influence of marine winds, the 25 ha vineyard reveals two unique soils: The Pointe du Diable, with its vineyards in the water and those on the flanks of the Malherbe land. The area imagined a walk circuit all around the vineyard. Thanks to a detailed map, visitors discover the features of the terraces of sand and slopes.
