Church featuring a museum of antique stones, sculpted lintels and two gilded wooden altarpieces.
Built between 1528 and 1532 on the site of an older church, the church of Saint-Pons houses a small museum of ancient stones, sculpted lamp-posts dating from the 16th century, and two beautiful gilded wooden altarpieces. The entrance portal belongs to the flamboyant gothic period. The lintel bears in its centre the base of a lost statue, decorated with a supplicant with joined hands. The bell tower is also worth a look: a remnant of the first bell tower from the 11th century, it was raised by one floor in 1712 to accommodate the village clock.
