Built from 1675 and opened in 1685, it contains the relics of Saint Maxime, patron of the village. It contains retables in gilded sculpted wood, 1762, tables, votive offerings, a statue of Saint Donat in gold painted wood, from the late sixteenth century. The apse is decorated with a monumental altar. Antique stained glass, faithfully restored in the workshops of Fernand Léger de Biot, illuminates. The bell tower, of Romanesque style, is coated with multi-coloured glazed tiles.

Village de caractère situé sur les hauteurs. Avant d’accéder à l’église il faut admirer les jolies rues, la fontaine, le lavoir et le château. L’église à l’allure massive est visible de loin avec les tuiles vernies du clocher. A l’intérieur on peut contempler de nombreux vitraux très colorés. Sur la place de l’église, une petite cascade apporte une certaine fraîcheur sous les platanes. Au loin magnifique vue sur les communes de Fayence et de Montauroux . Petit village perché à visiter.
