LAKE OF CARCES

A 100-hectare artificial lake in Carces, brimming with fish, pike, perch, carp, pike-perch, bream and roach...
Fed by six rivers, this 100 ha artificial lake, created by a dam downstream of the confluence of the Caramy and Issole rivers, was built to supply Toulon with drinking water. A real paradise for freshwater fishermen, it is full of fish, pike, perch, carp, pike-perch, pike-perch, bream and roach... when it is in water, which is not always the case with the drought that reigns in the region. It is also forbidden to swim and sail. Thanks to its landscaped banks, this stretch of water is very popular for picnics.
