FINE ARTS MUSEUM
Recently renovated, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Draguignan exhibits paintings, sculptures and objets d'art from the to the centuries.
Housed in the former summer palace of the Bishop of Fréjus, the Musée des Beaux-Arts reopened its doors in November 2023, following major renovation work. Its impressive collections combine paintings, sculptures and objets d'art from the 17th to the 20th centuries. Not-to-be-missed pieces include a rare example of panoramic Chinese wallpaper from the early 19th century and the Duc de Montmorency's ceremonial armor, a true masterpiece of 16th-century military goldsmithing. Temporary exhibitions are also organized here.
