A Romanesque chapel in Fayence, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, with a gentle setting and cypress trees.
This 11th century Romanesque chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary offers an almost Florentine landscape with its cypress trees and the softness of its setting. Built by the brothers of the Abbey of Lérins, with its stocky shape, its Romanesque bell tower and its particularly harmonious stone assembly, its unique nave closed to the east by the vaulted choir in the half dome, it exudes a very serene atmosphere.
