PARC SAINTE-CLAIRE
Botanical garden, one of the most beautiful in Hyères, to discover several subtropical species from South America and Australia.
Labelled a Jardin Remarquable, Parc Sainte-Claire is a beautiful 6,500 m² botanical garden planted with numerous subtropical species from South America and Australia. It was American novelist Edith Wharton who had the garden laid out after purchasing Château Sainte-Claire, the house overlooking the park, in 1927. She made it her winter residence for 10 years. The garden is still linked to the château by a footpath, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the town and the coast. The park is one of the most beautiful in Hyères.
