Committed to organic farming, this 30-hectare estate produces 12 award-winning cuvées.

Since Jean-Marie Zodo bought it in 2007, the estate, which is committed to organic farming and whose 30 hectares of A.O.P. Côtes-de-Provence vines stretch over the hillsides of Gassin and La Croix-Valmer and down to the beach at Gigaro, has gone from strength to strength, winning medals and distinctions in wine competitions. The Claire and Charlotte cuvées have become local favourites. Quality local products such as vinegar, olive oil, anchovy paste, "Les abeilles de Grimaud" honey, jam and gingerbread are on sale at the cellar.

Opening time and information on DOMAINE DE LA MADRAGUE

Low season: open from Monday to Saturday from 9am to 12:30pm and from 2:30pm to 6pm. High season: every day from 9am to 7pm. Open all year round. Free private parking. Lodging on site possible. www.lesvillasdelamadrague.com. Free wine tasting. Historical presentation of the domain, short commented visit of the cellar, with presentation of the wines, followed by a tasting of the Claire red, rosé and white wines with toasts. Reservation required 7 € per person.

Mais que se passe-t-il ? Étant un client régulier de cette cave dont l'originalité typée boisée vins blancs (arômes vanille et fruits jaunes) et rouges (aomes fruits rouges), ainsi que l'accueil habituellement professionnel, nous avons été énormément déçu lors de notre dernier passage en Août 2020. Accueil minable et vins devenus insignifiants. Je déconseille vivement de perdre du temps à visiter ce lieu. Privilégier les autres caves à proximité.

Very fine estate. Quality wines especially rosy. After a tasting including aperitif, lunch with Gigaro, at the end of the avenue to cap Lardier with the Refuge. There you will treat yourself and if the weather is nice you can have lunch or dinner on the terrace in the shade in this pretty little garden.
