One of the most interesting and largest megalithic monuments in the southern Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Listed as a Monument Historique since February 22, 1988, it was discovered in 1876. The Gaoutabry dolmen is a collective tomb containing human bones, pottery, flint tools and beads. The site rises to an altitude of 198 metres, overlooking the bay of La Londe-les-Maures and the Giens peninsula. The dolmen measures 6.5 by 1.5 metres. Bring water and good walking shoes.
