CHATEAU DE JASSON
25 years ago, the De Defendant family resumed this former «settlement farm» dating from the time of the Greeks. The vineyard of 15 hectares AOC Côtes de Provence, which extends on an clay-calcareous and schisto-limestone soil, is bordered by three torrents: the guarantee for vines to be irrigated by capilarité. The whole is also complanté with various varieties such as tibouren, cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet sauvignon, sémillon, Rolle and white ugni, always judiciously oriented. As a true passion, Mr De Defendant makes and made everything to the cellar. The family has also introduced the brand "artisan craftsmen of France" since spring 2016, a label for those who exploit their fields and develop their wine without any added trade. Of the 100 000 bottles produced annually, red, rosé and white wines come from a reasoned culture, and the Wines, Jeanne and Victoria wines are regularly awarded: in 2016, the domain recorded more than 200 medals!
