A villa in La Roquebrussanne, has a center of a vast wine and agricultural domain, with a vast set of buildings
The discovery of this Gallo-Roman farm in 1977 encouraged the organisation of a rescue excavation between 1978 and 1983. A vast complex of buildings was discovered. The Villa Loou was in fact the centre of a vast wine and agricultural estate where vines were grown, but also olive trees and legumes. Today, it can be seen on the road to the Loou wine estate, which has nicely honoured its history by naming itself so. The excavations of the time also brought to light a significant amount of archaeological material.
