To come to Dominette is to discover the heliciculture, the snail breeding. Developed by Christine Wattelier, a former optician who has been reconverted, the farm has nearly 120,000 snails (Gros Gris and Petits Gris) that are processed on site in a laboratory that complies with CE standards. Plain, with parsley butter, in suçarelle (Provencal sauce), in jars... There are many recipes for those who love snails, of course! Educational visits, sometimes at night, are offered by appointment and during the summer. Do not hesitate to ask for information.
