This interlacing of alleys is dominated by the castle and its square keep dating from the 13th century. Four doors, the Réal door, the Milante door, the Low door or the Clock door and the High door allowed the access. This district is full of other vestiges, such as the Clock Tower and its bell tower from 1662, the Saint-Pierre chapel from the 12th century, a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture, and the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church (18th and 19th century in neoclassical style). A stroll through these picturesque streets is enchanting. Not to be missed!

Ce quartier Médiéval est certainement l’un des plus beaux endroits de la Provence dans le Var. La visite s’effectue uniquement à pied avec son appareil photos. Suivre le tracé du plan fourni par l’office de tourisme. On traverse les ruelles avec de nombreuses places, lavoirs, horloges, ruines du château, églises, chapelles, tour, donjon etc. Ne pas hésiter à visiter l’intérieur des innombrables monuments avec exposition et documentation historique.
