SAINT MARTIN'S COLLEGIATE CHURCH

An impressively spacious Baroque church, adorned with superb furnishings and a great organ.
Built from 1704, on the initiative of the bishop of Fréjus, the future cardinal Fleury, it has three naves and a cul-de-four apse. The bell tower was never completed, probably due to a lack of funds. The interior furnishings, from the 18th century, are superb with a beautiful baroque high altar, a sculpted pulpit, served by a double staircase. The great organ - two thousand pipes - is the work of the Alsatian organ builder Augustin Zeiger in 1837. Of great musical quality, it allows the organization of many concerts.
