CHÂTEAU SAINTE BÉATRICE
With the purchase by Valérie Rousselle, owner of Château Roubine, also located in the commune of Lorgues, a new page has been turned for this 50-hectare estate, entirely planted with noble grape varieties, some of which are more than 80 years old: Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cinsault for the reds and rosés, and Semillon Blanc, Rolle, (Vermentino) for the whites. Here, the land is worked the old-fashioned way and for the respect of the environment, no total weed killer is used. The estate also houses a fine collection of antique objects and tools "from the earth to the vine - from the cooper to the cellar", as well as old tractors, horse-drawn carriages and stills.
