Founded in 1620, it is one of the oldest wineries in the region. Since its purchase in 2011 by a trio of friends who love Provence, Château la Martinette has been undergoing a complete metamorphosis. Its 42 hectares of organic vines are preserved by 350 hectares of forests, olive trees, lavender and restanques. Crossed by the Provencal river Argens, it is a haven of nature where olive groves and truffle fields have come back to life. Driven by the energy and commitment of a team of about twenty young and experienced people, Château La Martinette offers quality products and Côtes de Provence wines that are regularly awarded in competitions. A superb contemporary winery came out of the ground last year. Built in harmony with its environment of unique and remarkable natural beauty, its floors feature the Provençal restanques. Made of stone, glass, concrete and steel, it houses a cellar with visible architectural prowess, with equipment at the cutting edge of winemaking. Here, the estate's team creates top-of-the-range wines, capable of accurately expressing their singularity and the terroir from which they come. With a restructured vineyard, the new winery and the visual identity revisited, a major change is taking place. For the wines, freshness and balance are at the rendezvous with whites, reds and rosés with bewitching, clean, fine and complex aromas, which can be found in three ranges with strong identities: Château la Martinette, Rollier de la Martinette, and the extraordinary Parcellaires: Grande Pièce rouge, Reflets d'Argens rosé and Clos Blanc. An estate and wines that are worth a visit.
