This spring lies below the village of Mons, where the Rochetaillée aqueduct used to run.
It is located below the village of Mons, where the Rochetaillée aqueduct began, built by the Romans with their avant-garde technology and which was to lead the waters of the Siagnole to Forum Julii - Fréjus. The Romans dug a perfectly preserved 50 meter long, 12 meter deep and 3 meter wide trench in the middle of the stone to overcome the crossing of a cliff overhanging the Siagnole valley, located 2 kilometers downstream from the source.
