Church containing altarpieces signed Van Loo, a baptistery topped by a gypsum shell, a painting and a statue.
Built in the 12th century, the church of Saint-Barthélemy has a choir decorated with an open-air fresco, executed in 1859 by two painters from Nice, Galli and Coste, and representing the four evangelists and Saint-Barthélemy. It also contains several altarpieces by Van Loo, a baptistery topped by a gypsum shell (a sign that Montauroux was an important stop on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela), the painting of the Assumption, the statue of St. Bartholomew, as well as a restored Italian organ dating from 1870.
