PAMPELONNE BAY
Pampelonne Bay in Ramatuelle with an immense beach, a 4.5 km long ribbon of fine golden sand from Cap Pinet to Cap Camarat
A huge beach, a ribbon of fine golden sand, stretches for 4.5 kilometres from Cap Pinet to Cap Camarat. This famous place of the Allied landing on August 15, 1944 is now home to twenty-three beach establishments, renowned and known throughout the world. And it is also thanks to the fame of the French actress Brigitte Bardot in the 1950s that this bay has developed. It is an ideal place to get a good tan or to take a walk along the coast to Escalet beach. There are a number of restaurants and activities.
