A museum with a wealth of ancient objects, amphorae, vases, coins and a remarkable collection of graves.

A vestige of the ancient past of the town, this interesting classified museum takes us back 2000 years. Built on the remains of a villa Maritima, this site shelters three beautiful mosaics of the first century AD, twisted columns of the same period and numerous objects, amphoras, vases, coins, glassware... and a remarkable set of burial forms. A museum and a site not to be missed during your visit to Saint-Cyr, quite unique in France.

Musée archéologique de Saint-Cyr sur Mer
Beau site avec trajet dans les ruines d'une villa romaine et musée englobant une partie des fondations et de très belles mosaïques mises à jour et une grande variété d'objets exposés. Accueil chaleureux par un passionné.

Ce musée est bien car pour une station balnéaire nous nous attendons pas à trouver ce lieu . C'est en revanche dommage qu'il ne soit pas ouvert souvent .
