LA BRAVADE – SAINT-TROPEZ
Commemoration of the "corps de bravade", an armed militia that the city acquired in 1558 to defend itself. Parade and religious procession.
Every year in mid-May, the people of Saint-Tropez commemorate the corps de bravade, the armed militia the town acquired in 1558 to ensure its defense. The corps de bravade, made up of musketeers, saints' guards and sailors in parade dress, takes over the town hall. The bust of Saint Tropez is carried in procession through the town. A great experience for the whole family, to appreciate Provencal tradition and folklore. Good memories guaranteed.
