The chestnut is honoured in many villages in Var but also in Toulon! Now traditional, this feast celebrates chestnut in all its states. Everyone can discover delicious sweet and savoury products: nature and dry, à, châtaignade for aperitif, cream, jam, honey, syrup… but also pancakes, cakes, crispy cakes, cakes, breads and gingerbread bread, or chestnut flour. From Collobrières, the massif des Maures, Freinet, Ardèche, Cevennes or Corsica, it is set in various menus and specialities from the regions. The craft stands are also in the program, like games for minots!
