Under the impetus of the "Société des Amis du vieux Toulon", an association under the law of 1901 working for the conservation of the historical heritage of the Prefecture, this museum preserves works of art and documents of all kinds relating to the history of the city and its region. On the first floor, the luminous room highlights plan-relief, sketchbooks, busts, paintings and other watercolors, while the second floor hosts a well-stocked library.
