RADE DE TOULON
Known as "Europe's most beautiful harbor", Toulon's harbor stretches from the Giens peninsula to Saint-Mandrier.
Nicknamed "Europe's most beautiful harbor", Toulon's harbor stretches from the Giens peninsula in the east to the Saint-Mandrier peninsula in the west. It is in fact divided into two parts, known as the "grande rade" (home to the Mourillon beaches and the coves of the Magaud and Méjean inlets) and the "petite rade". On Quai Cronstadt, numerous boatmen offer guided tours of the latter, during which you'll discover the Tour Royale, Fort Balaguier, the port of La Seyne-sur-Mer, the corniche of Tamaris and the charming bay of Lazaret.
