POINTE ISABELLE * * *
Three hundred metres from the Montenvers railway station, this modern style hotel has just been completely renovated in 2014. Created in the 1970 s by Isabella Straton's descendants named The Lady, one of the few women climbers to climb the peaks of the Alps and the Pyrenees in the 1876 th century, the hotel pays tribute to this heroine of mountaineering - original English, married the Blend guide Jean Charlet and made her first ascent of Mont Blanc in. The new owners, from Scandinavia, have revived their history. They gave his name to the hotel, created a logo with his effigy and decorated the bar with his reel and his shoes. A successful renovation of the chic mountain spirit: Comfortable rooms (a suite with sauna) and a brasserie bar, a trendy Bistro, offering many vegetarian dishes. A charming address to the international atmosphere.
