Stayed here as part of a tour group. Quaint location in the mountains with beanbag chair to lay in and relax after a long day on the trail. Excellent food - delicious and lots of it. Rooms were bunks, sturdy and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and hot showers a plus.

We had an amazing lunch here during our trek on the Tour du Mont Blanc. Couldn't believe how tasty it was.

My husband and I stayed here and was our first stop on the TMB. We got to the refuge very late and the owner was nice enough to wait for us. The food is good. The rooms are all shared with others which hard for me to sleep in but otherwise was nice. Three toilets for all the refuge to share. Also, even though this refuge is listed as in Les Contamines, it is actually 1.5 hours hike beyond it.

Life changing refuge. Stayed here during the 5th day hiking the tmb, and the hostess welcomed us with warm arms.
Dinner was exceptional with awesome vegan options.

Beautiful location, but the blueberry waffel was cold and disappointing. Definitely not worth the 7.5 Euros

Easily the least favorite refuge we came across on our trek. Staff seemed like a parody of the rude French waiter. No amenities to use. Every other refuge had water, outlets and welcomed you if you were staying or just passing through. This one is the opposite of that. Keep going to le balme for a much better experience

Refuge très mignon, petites tables dans un joli petit jardin... Le cadre magnifique. La gardienne et la serveuse sont adorables, très bons échanges et humour.
Les sanitaire propres, sauf quand des dégueulasses y vont ...ca c'est sûr !
Chambre simple et efficace, nourriture simple et bonne.

C'est un refuge de montagne et non un hôtel , je le dis pour certains !

Magnifique randonnée qui démarre du Village de Contamine Montjoie pour atteindre le refuge de Nant Borrant (+/- 1860 m en altitude). Terrasse tant au soleil qu à l ombre. De quoi s y reposer avant d entamer la descente vers les gorges ou de continuer à grimper. Délicieuses tartes aux myrtilles sont servies et les prix ne sont pas exagérés.

Endroit plein de charme ! Nous y avons bu un coup en redescendant du lac Jovet et mangé une excellente tarte à la Myrtille.

Sur le chemin retour de notre randonnée pour les lacs jovets nous nous sommes arrêtés pour déjeuner dans ce refuge !

Accueil tres chaleureux, une carte proposant des plats de la région et des spécialités du refuge.
Les plats étaient excellents ! Le rapport qualité prix est correct et la vue à couper le souffle.
Vous pouvez aussi vous arrêter pour boire un verre ou un café sur les transats en admirant la vue.

Après ce déjeuner nous sommes repartis en pleine forme pour finir les quelques kilomètres de la rando.

Vous avez la possibilité de dormir au refuge avec une option demi pension.
Ils acceptent les règlements en espèces, en chèques et en CB (mais pas évident car la connexion passe mal).

Accueil chaleureux, plats délicieux. Le cadre est idyllique, c'est facile d'accès même pour ceux qui n'ont jamais randonné auparavant. Mon resto montagnard préféré ! Néanmoins les prix sont un peu trop élevés...
