The NGO Prioriterre is the free, independent and neutral Council specialist on sustainable development in the region. It defines itself as a "Choice" of the environment. It will help you reduce your ecological footprint and know how to invest in renewable energies with advice from professionals, advice that sometimes comes only from common sense (before installing a system of eco-heating, it is first to check the insulation of your home) or a change of behaviour (extinguish the generators of your electrical appliances). Funded by 75% by the public authorities and 25% by patrons (such as Bosch or the Alvend laboratory), the NGO set an example since it has the particularity of being hosted in Meythet in the premises, made available by the Town hall, the "House for the planet" (see box).
On the website, a number of fact sheets are available to better choose your insulation, heating, electrical system, but you can also make an appointment by phone or online to receive the advice of Prioriterre.
