LA SALLE DES GARDES
Savoyard specialities in a restaurant with terrace and superb view, facing the Palais de l'Isle.
Annecy's rarely successful winning combination of a view, facing the iconic Palais de l'Ile splitting the waters of the Thiou, and a taste for the best Savoyard specialties. A historic place, whose 12th-century walls in the Middle Ages housed meals for the guards of the old prisons, which today offers a dream terrace, a warm dining room and an adorable welcome to gourmet visitors. At the time of our visit, there had been no increase in prices, and the quality of the products used to make up the salads, tartiflettes, traditional fondues and raclettes was as high as ever. Home-made profiteroles and tiramisu. Savoy wines by the glass. An address to treasure.
