The youth hostel is an alternative which is not reserved for students and itinerant visitors, but open to all as long as they are members of HI youth hostels. 4 fir trees for a hostel located on the heights of Annecy, enjoying a view of the lake and a very pleasant forest environment. Free parking and shuttle bus to the old town and the train station. Well maintained rooms with 4 or 5 beds with shower and sink, wifi connection, fully equipped kitchen to share, as well as the terrace with its famous view on the mountains.

Sehr arme Umstände herrschen da leider, obwohl es nicht billig ist.. . Nie wieder!!!
1. Clean bed
2. Kitchen available, but quite under equipped
Bad:
1. No individual power outlet for each bed. Lacking power outlets in room, had to charge my phone in the common area as power outlets were fully utilised even in a room for four persons.
2. Toilets are outside the room and dirty, no bidet.
3. Shower is in the room but very noisy. Suggest to put shower outside room since toilet is already outside the room.
4. Quite inconvenient if travelling without car, though free car parking available.
5. Breakfast is atrocious. Bread is dry and powdery. Coffee from coffee machine is really bad.
6. No hook in toilet and shower. No place to hang my clothes or bag when using toilet or shower
7. No one at reception during check in, had to wait 30 minutes before someone came
