Italian cinema is in the spotlight for a whole week! With VO screenings, tributes, retrospectives, exhibitions..
What can we say about this Festival that will have had time to celebrate its 40th edition in 2022, but will not have been able to take place in 2023? And what about 2024? At the time of writing, it's not certain that a new edition of this Annecy "classic" can still be held at Bonlieu. What a pity if one of the city's cultural emblems, honoring Italian film culture rich in outstanding works and personalities, could no longer take place after 40 years. A matter to be followed and much to be regretted if the 41st edition were not to take place in theaters and elsewhere, between competitions of the year's films, retrospectives and exhibitions.
