The Annecy Marathon is an exceptional race as it is one of the "oldest" in France. Created in 1980 just after the Paris marathon, it is considered as one of the most beautiful in France with its course winding between lake and mountains. In an exceptional setting along the western shore of Lake Annecy, with a "small" difference in altitude of a hundred metres, thousands of runners set off for a full 42.195 km, a half marathon or the 10 km. An event not to be missed, the main thing is to participate, even to encourage the runners.
