CARNAVAL VÉNITIEN
Go there and contact
A mysterious, enchanting and friendly atmosphere that captivates everyone - participants and spectators, young and old!
Every year, on a Saturday and Sunday in February or March (the second weekend following the date of Shrove Tuesday), along the canals and in the alleys of the old town of Annecy. No parade but an unreal ballet of nearly 350 masks and costumes pose and stroll slowly in the silence punctuated by juggling games, brass bands and other animations. The silhouettes are richly decorated, highlighted by the ochre of the old buildings of the old Annecy. Annecy, nicknamed "Little Venice of the Alps", is a complete illusion!
